This home was in fairly decent shape with some termite damage in the master bedroom. I saw the need to open it up so I cut an opening for a sliding door on the back wall of the living room and had a concrete lanai poured to give the new owners a place to barbecue and hang out.
Then I cut an opening in the cramped kitchen and created a pass through so the kitchen and living room were connected.
Next came all new windows, refinishing the original Fir floors, paint inside and outside, a new entry gable and walkway, built in book cases all new kitchen and appliances… oh and some landscaping.
Since the new owner was flipping the house we minimized what we were going to spend but the house sold within the first week for $100,000 more than what her realtor recommended expected!
This classic Kamaaina home located in Kaneohe was remodeled to keep the feeling of bygone days alive. With the Koolau mountains as a backdrop, TM Builders transformed a worn out termite eaten house many would have considered a tear down, into a charming stylish cottage for a family to grow up in… local style!
